So after going back and forth, my dad and I decided to get an X. Apparently Verizon is having a deal and we are going to go for it.

I know some people have issues with it and say Face ID is slow or doesn't work if you are laying on your side etc.

Do you expect some major changes from IOS to improve the X? Can updates improve Face Id? What else do you think will change through iOS updates?

I hope and believe that Apple is working on the faceid issues, and soon it will get updated because sometimes faceid recognition is quite annoying...
And I don't think there will be other big changes in the future updates, X is great, the only issue is the faceid.

Plus the lack of notification support. The entire screen does not need to turn on for notifications. And they should be grouped together.

I hope they work on it from what I've read. I just wonder if there are certain things people expect to change. I know the 2nd generation X will be out this Fall so I wonder what truly will be different. I'm more of a software guy so as long as they continue to improve the software and the first gen X will be able to do the same things as 2nd X, I will be happy!

Yah Android's notification support is a bit better, but it doesn't bother me as much as faceid does, I can easily clear up all the notification, but I agree with you.
