I am looking for an affordable editor that will enable me to edit (fill) PDF form (think medical patient information & histories) 4 or 5 times a year. I need something that runs in Catalina & is relatively easy to use (think senior).

What do you use & would you recommend it to an older occasional user?

Thanks in advance...billgr0248

The built in preview app works fine. I personally bought PDF Expert but it does cost a bit.

I've found some forms so complicated, that sometimes it's just easier to print it out, then fill it out by hand with a pen... ;)

Thanks to all for your input...I too had no idea you could do so much with Preview.app. All I have used it for in the past is to view images...we learn something every day (& that is good!)

yes you can even add a digital signature or scanned signature to sign documents etc / add text boxes - mark up etc.
Sorry to bring up an old post, but how do you add a digital signature on the preview app?

I’m not referring to the scanned signature. Found enough and more tutorials on that. I’m referring to the digital signature based on a certificate issued by a certified authority. Thanks

Not really what I’m looking for. This is a scanned signature. I'm referring to a digital signature which is more secure and backed by a Certfying Authority.

my certifying authority is only able to advise as to how it could be added on a windows machine and I can’t seem to find anything on how to get it done on a Mac.
