iPod What do you use your iPod for?

I thought this might be interesting since i don't use it for what you think i would.

My use:

- 75% listing to podcasts.
- 5% games.
- 15% music.
- 5% tv shows. (not movies, the screen is way to small)

Do iPhone's count?

- 25% TV shows (I have a terrible habit of watching Scrubs before I go to sleep)
- 45% Games
- 40% Music (when commuting on the train)
- 1%? Phone calls

Oh yeah, I make phone calls too. to the bright people who figured out that didn't add to 100%, tell me why?

10/120 gb of my iPod classic are tracks I play regularly, about 60 GB stores the rest of my music in various formats (flac mostly). Disk Mode ftw...

My 2nd gen nano is all music, all the time.

If I had a newer gen, the video portion would only be about 5-10%. I'm a hobbyist musician, so music is a Big Thing for me.

Come to think of it, I may get a newer nano for my upcoming birthday so I can have more music at hand. The 8Gb nano is $50 cheaper than what I paid for mine, and that's at "new" prices.

Pardon me while I meander over to the Apple Store's refurb section... 🙂

60 gb 5G ipod.... 100% music (connected to my A5's MMI)

16gb 1st gen iPhone... 90% phone. 10% other. the only time i watch movies or play games is when i'm traveling on the plane. check the weather almost everyday and email throughout the day when i'm not near my laptop. safari when friends and i are out and have a weird fact we're looking for. shazam whenever i hear a song i don't know. probably only use it for music 1-2 times per week if i'm not traveling.

2g 1gb shuffle... 100% music obviously. use it for working out.

I hoping to start with watching movies on it soon Yay , am new to this on an iPod , the 1st gen I had didn't have this capability & died recently Soo I got this one...any tip other than iTunes store for decent/interesting video podcasts
