I use my 2019 15" MBP as my main computer. Some programming (java stuff in VSCode, previously Eclipse), some light gaming (Minecraft, occasionally might play Cities Skylines which runs fine on macOS, etc), Discord, video watching, web browsing, music, etc. If i play heavier games I have my Ryzen rig for those. I have the 2.3 i9 560x/16gb/512gb base config.

Quite heavy photo editing with Lightroom Classic and Photoshop, camera tethering to Lightroom, email, web browsing, running to meetings, occasional Premiere Pro and MS Office.

Mine is 2012 15” rMBP, with motherboard replaced twice, worn out display with dead pixels, worn out battery, scratches all around, but still going strong! Now, finally, I’m ready to replace it with the 16” and donate the old one to my dad. So I have used it well, and it has served me well.

I use my 2015 15" MBP for Safari, Mail, Numbers, Pages, and backup of my iPhone in that order. I could probably do most of that on a tablet, but I like the computer experience much better. Since I am color blind, my wife does all the photo editing on her 2019 13" MBP.

I am a photographer. My primary focus is in landscapes and tiny planets.

Photo editing: Lightroom and Photoshop
Plugins: Nik Software, Raya pro, and Lumenzia.
Panorama software: ptgui and Autopano Giga
Time lapse software: Lr Timelapse
Milky way/star processing: Starry landscape Stacker and StarStaX

I will also be giving Luminar 4 a go when it comes out in a few days. I just got the 16" just for the 64GB of ram. All my applications devour ram.

Porn, occasional work, YouTube, social media, more porn, maybe get some work done, but mostly just sitting their looking pretty.
