I want to feel the Christmas spirit.

I blame my loss of Christmas spirit to corporations putting up decorations, running ads, and such WAY too early (I saw Christmas lights and ornaments at Target before Halloween!). By the time Christmas rolls around, I'm ready for it to be over.

But that is wishful thinking so I'll settle for ice skating at Rockefeller and just walking around Manhattan all bundled up.

Honestly, I'd much rather give presents than RECIEVE them. I've gone from wanting a Touch to a Xbox 360 Elite to nothing. Ah well...

Fixed that for you! (correction in bold), and I agree with you I like giving gifts more then receiving, especially if the gifts are a surprise, and their not expecting it.

I have no problem with Christmas spirit, and I don't mind the early decorations. I'll be up in NJ around the 27th for New Years, and I will hopefully walk around Manhattan some. I love the City. Do they keep the tree and stuff up for any time after Christmas or is it history on the 26th?

The tree stays up after Christmas, I believe at least until New Years Eve.

I wish I could be back for the day-after-Christmas sales. Darn!

I feel a bit of "old" creeping up on me, I'm starting to want less and less for Christmas. Right now, I really can't think of a thing (still too early I guess, I hope ;))

it now seems odd to me that I don't want anything other than a good lunch now that i am 18.

I might get a camera before i go to the land of the free on the 15th as to get it duty free, but i want apple to release the 'iEye' or somthing like that with 8MP and 4X optical zoom with a full multitouch screen!:D:D

All I want for Christmas is you.

Nothing. I'm an atheist.

Don't worry, my friend, I am as well. I've asked for nothing for Christmas the past several years, or simply said "I don't know," yet my family continues to get me things. Not that it's a religious holiday for us  Mostly just celebrating family, I suppose.

I'm in the same boat. Expect it's religious for my family but not for me.

What I really want:
apple-iphone-3g.jpg

An :apple: iPhone 3G Preferably 16GB in black or white (I'm not fussy either would do nicely)

What I'll Probably end up with:
ipod_touch.jpg

An :apple: iPod touch 8GB or 16GB

I'd be quite happy with either :D

Holiday would be nice. Ain't happening though.

Not if Christmas is as nakedly commercial as it is for my family + extensions, and for friends / acquaintances who gift expensively so need to reciprocate. There are zeros in my Christmas shopping list bill and I don't live in Zimbabwe.
