Last Friday, we shared our annual What to Expect Guide that covers everything we're expecting to see from Apple in 2024, based on current rumors and historical product release information.

What-to-Expect-from-Apple-in-2024-Feature-2.jpg

We're going to see the launch of the Vision Pro early in the year, followed by new OLED iPad Pro models, a new version of the AirPods, an iPad Air in a new size, an Apple Watch that has blood pressure monitoring and sleep detection, and of course, refreshed iPhone 16 models with a host of new features.

While we know what we're expecting to see from Apple in 2024, we want to hear from the MacRumors community. What are you hoping to see Apple release this year?

Are you looking forward to generative AI? Crossing your fingers for new iPhone features? What would you like to see in iOS 18? Will you buy Apple's Vision Pro headset?

Let us know your thoughts in the comments, and take a look at our What to Expect Guide to see an overview of the current rumors. We'll be hearing a lot more about Apple's 2024 product plans in the coming months, and we'll have in-depth coverage at MacRumors.com.

If you want to discuss Apple's upcoming products, our MacRumors forums are an excellent resource, plus they're a great place to get help on current Apple products, software, and so much more.

We'd like to thank our readers and our forum members for making MacRumors the number one source for Apple news, rumors, and advice. MacRumors celebrated its 23rd birthday this year, and that's thanks to our dedicated supporters. We are looking forward to another year of rumors and product launches in 2024. Happy New Year!

We pretty much know what to expect it seems, and there may not be any major product overhauls, but I'd like to see at least one cool new design: a multi-device charger, premium HomePod, monitor, whatever, but something clever with "Apple" touches that give me confidence in the new design team.

Maybe the new iPad Pro can be a big departure with the glass back and aluminum keyboard. I wouldn't want one, but would be excited to see how the new design elements make their way into other products in the future.

Keyboards with ESC and full-size arrow keys.

Pretty much the same thing I wanted last year.
An improved iPad OS stage manager that’s intuitive and bug free, perhaps with options to tile stages instead of window…

And then bring it to a new M2 iPhone Pro with Thunderbolt/USB4, so that I can connect it to an Apple Display (or other external monitor) Magic Keyboard and Trackpad, and DeX mode my desktop.
Stage manager is improved now, and with features like external camera support now implemented, I think it is time to bring it to bring it to an M series chip based iPhone Pro. I’d also like to see an Apple Display with Pro Motion to connect it to.

A second season for Apple TV+ „SILO“ and continued seasons “For All Mankind“ epic space saga.

Apple shall keep their promise to support MacPro 2019 with AMD 7900XT drivers. With a lifecycle of at least 6 years, they can’t stop drivers after 3. This is not a wish, this is mandatory and smells like class Aktion.

Great one @MTD's Mac . Proof of life for Apple Design creds would be very exciting and welcomed. I want to be surprised and delighted!

Fix the Watch Timer UI. See Craig Hockenberry's write-up. Do me a favor and take action as Craig suggests in the last paragraph.
If you need to get in touch with me about any of this, there’s FB13212554. If you’re a developer who feels similarly about these regressions, please dupe this feedback (it’s a copy of this blog post). Otherwise, you can send your comments to Apple directly.
