The Promotion display is a marketing term for a feature used on the new iPad Pro's. It's a 120 HZ refresh rate that allows for a smoother experiencing using the display.

I voted for a better design. I am not a fan of the top notch. I wished they made small symmetrical lip on both sides to cover the notch. I am also not a fan of rounded edges. If they had top and bottom lip, they could had gotten away with rectangular screen with nice square edges.

Truthfully, I think if It did have a lower price tag, it would obviously persuade others to give it a chance. But I also think a lower price tag would allow those to maybe look past certain features they don't like and try this iPhone if it were affordable for some.
