What does 3.0 mean for those with TMS4 texting.

I have a FAN discount with my AT&T plan, and I also have the TMS4 which is 1500 texts for $8.99 (which I know many others have taken advantage of). Now that 3.0 will allow us to MMS, is this seperate from our 1500 texts?

Now that we have official word that MMS would be allowed, does anyone have any idea how this would work with people who have TMS4 or the other cheaper/fairer texting plans? Are those texts able to be used for MMS?

Why don't you call AT&T and ask them?

I doubt it though as MMS and SMS are two entirely different products in that regard.

I also have this code applied to my account. When I had called to have it add it, the CSR I talked to said that this code would only work with text messages. However, I have little faith that most CSRs at any company know what they're talking about most of the time. I'm in no rush and will wait to see how this works once MMS is live with AT&T.
