What does a Water Sensor do in a Macbook
Most likely used for warranty purposes. I don't think Apple will cover water damage so when the sensor is tripped. Apple will know it has seen water.
Just my guess
I read somwhere it did more, I forgot so I made this thread
is there a pic of this so called water sensor? I'm thinking maybe it's just a myth..
Lies in wait. Foils plans. Breaks hearts. Etc.
Yea, most likely the little white sticker that turns red and tells you "out of warranty." when you're not.
It tells you if it's raining, or if you're standing under something blocking the rain.
It's a bit like a warranty banana.
It can also tell you when it's not wet.
Put it on your date's lap and it will tell you if she's into you!
It won't change from white to red....lol
the macbook seals the floodgates when it detects a water hazard. closes chamber 1 first then moves throughout the notebook closing all the chambers etc..
This thread can't be serious.
