If you're serious, you kind of missed all of the preceding posts on this thread. OP has, at this moment, 393 posts.

If you're not serious, some indication that you are joking (e.g., or;), or something of the kind) are useful as it is sometimes hard to tell with written communication.:)

It was a pretty much sarcastic response. I am deeply sorry for the missing smiley. It will not happen again. It was a rather inconvenient accident, so I'll offer my comprehension to those who felt offended by my post #23 of this thread.

Sorry again.

I just started posting anything barely relevant after post #500. Until then, all I wanted was being able to upload an avatar.

I can't imagine how many times I've visited the site in over 10 years. I should post more to get my processor number higher...

Yeah, I remember looking at those - crazy statistics - and wondering about them in the months after I first joined the forum.

Yet, somehow, in deference of logic (or your own sanity), post counts do creep up......

6,502 of your favorite Apple products have been discontinued.

Yeah, one would assume that I don't have a life :p
Well, let us make a simple calculation. From the number of posts you have made and the number of days have passed since you have been a member on this board, also to give you the benefit of the doubt that this is the only forum you contribute to, and you are awake 16 hours of the day (unless you can post while you are at sleep) you are making an average 18 posts per day or a little more than one per hour.

If you spend no more than 5 minute per post, that's about 90 minutes of your time per day. I'd say it is doable. You may have a life after all. :D;)

I don't know why these ambiguous titles are used. I bet most of us don't know what those numbers mean. Have you ever considered using titles that most people can actually understand ?

Well, from what I can gather, the numbers are derived from various microprocessors (increasingly powerful microprocessors) that were used in Apple computers over the years, which - given that this site was established to discuss and explore anything and everything to do with Apple computers, - strikes me as a pretty logical and unusually apt way to define how many posts a member has made, or posted.

OH NO! I didn't know this was a rule. There goes my dry wit.
