Any information or speculation on the future updates for the MacBook Pro? My sister will need a laptop in a year or so, so I was thinking about giving her mine and purchasing a new MBP. Any specific update I should wait for? Thanks! :D

The only support it's lacking is HDCP movie playback.

Is HDCP a Software or Hardware issue?

    Yes.

    Seriously, it's both.

Or, if you want my opinion, it's an "Idiots who created the frigging DRM in the first place" issue.

I have a feeling the matte will only be available as an option on the 17'' model.

In the not too distant future we are going to be looking at touch screen capability on the notebook range. The technology is being developed it just depends on how long it takes to roll out. Windows 7 is supposedly configured for touch screen support.
