what does the upgraded 8800 video card do

does this upgraded card really make a big difference in my day to day computing?

I mainly use audio like logic and do regular stuff like burn movies go online etc.

If I get this card will I even notice a difference?

No, you will not.

This card is mainly for games. If you play no games... seriously... at least for now until the firmware / drivers get upgraded... the ATI card will be just as fast if not faster for many things including some pro apps.

There is no need for you to get the 8800 GT, it will not boost your performance. 🙂
