The german pools (at least in Munich) kick ass! Clean and beautiful. I swear I've never been to pools so nice before...never have to worry about silly stuff like this!

That was baby snot in the water, not oil. The trick is to keep your mouth closed until you raise your head up for air. Don't worry, your head will assume its normal size in about a week or two.
