My wife's MacBook Air gets this popup:

"Another device on the network is using your computer's IP address"
Then it goes on to say "Try connecting again later"

Is it possible that one of our iPads or iPhones may be using the IP address? Or do I have a more serious problem?

Thanks for any advice!

It's an issue that appears from time to time - some say it's caused by a bug in iOS/OS X in how they handle IP addresses assigned via DHCP on some routers.

Usually a restart of the computer will resolve the issue.

If that fails, you may need to restart your router.

If you are using static IP addresses, then you have manually assigned the same IP address to multiple devices.
