C chrispyfur macrumors newbie Nov 27, 2018 #2 That means target disk mode. Do you have some stuck keys on your keyboard? Try holding down option as you boot up, see if you get the choice of booting from hard drive.

orbital~debris macrumors 68030 Nov 27, 2018 #3 It’s the FireWire symbol. And like @chrispyfur says, in this scenario it indicates Target Disk Mode is active. Your ‘T’ key is most likely stuck down.
