What does this symbol mean?!

Does anyone know what the attached symbol means? I get it on my Macbook A1181 when I boot.

That means target disk mode.

Do you have some stuck keys on your keyboard?

Try holding down option as you boot up, see if you get the choice of booting from hard drive.

It’s the FireWire symbol.

And like @chrispyfur says, in this scenario it indicates Target Disk Mode is active. Your ‘T’ key is most likely stuck down.
