Its the picture frame mode, it displays pictures in a slideshow.

Too bad, looks like a mod screwed up and put this ipad thread into the picture gallery area. Had a hell of a time finding it, it's a shame other ipad users probably won't get to see it buried in here.

It's not an error at all. Threads primarily for posting pictures should be in the Picture Gallery.

Press the home and lock button at the same time.

Awesome tip- thanks! It works on the iPhone too making it twice as sweet...

I've found that I greatly prefer b/w backgrounds because they make the colors in the icons really pop...
