Bought a 16 Pro and M4 IPad Pro 13”. Will be swapping the 16 Pro for a 17 PM in September

I’m considering to upgrade my 14 Pro Max (and give it to my mum to replace is exhausted 8 plus) to 17 Pro or 17 Pro Max: sometimes I want to go smaller (I’m a 12 mini early adopter and lover), sometime I’m worried about missing battery life.

I am strongly considering an upgrade from a 13 to a 17 Pro even though I have just had a battery replacement via Apple and the phone runs everything perfectly on iOS 18.

Bought a 16 Pro back in February (having seen the 17 Pro design...) and received AirPods 4 ANC for my birthday. :)

Also got a new M4 MBA from work.

I think I've scratched the new gadget itch for this year, not expecting to buy anything else tech related.

Just bought an M4 MacBook Air and will be getting an iPhone 16 Pro Max (yes, I know about the 17) and an Apple Watch at the end of the month. Can't decide between the normal AW S10 or the Ultra 2.

I have purchased Macbook Air M4 Sky Blue and plan to buy the iPhone 17 Pro Max which is an annual purchase.

I have the S9 which is still perfectly fine, however if I had a choice now I would go with the Ultra 2 but if you can wait out for the September event incase the Ultra 3 is announced you could get the Ultra 2 cheaper. Or you could get a refurbished Ultra 2 off the Apple website.

I guess for me it’s down to the 17 pro max & the next gen Apple TV later this year.

For me it's looking likely that I might upgrade a few things, but we'll see.

iPhone 13 --> iPhone 17 Pro or PM
Airpods Pro (gen 1) --> Airprods Pro (gen 3)
Apple watch S8 --> no plan to upgrade, but maybe the Ultra 3 will offer something
iPad Pro (M1) --> no plan to upgrade

All of my stuff is good, will only buy if something breaks (my first gen Airpod Pro's I have to wonder how long will last so that might be the only possibility).

  • iPhone 13 mini → iPhone 17 Pro (or maybe just the 17, depending on what’s offered)

Funny, I actually went the other way! 16P to 13 Mini. Finally had it with pretending I can tolerate a big screen.

Besides that I also adopted an M4P MBP. Hoping we get some good new watchbands this fall!

I might buy an iPhone XR to complement my Android phone. It's the latest generation of iPhone Apple hasn't poisoned with iOS26.

I‘m gonna switch to iPhone 17 PM from 16 PM and to AW Ultra 3 from Ultra 2. Not sure about the switch to the AirPods Pro 3.

This year’s going to be a light one for me when it comes to upgrades. I don’t upgrade every year—only when a want turns into a need. That’s just how I approach it, though I know it’s different for everyone.

Here’s how my 2025 is shaping up so far:

  • iPhone 13 mini → iPhone 17 Pro (or maybe just the 17, depending on what’s offered)
  • Apple Watch Series 8 → Series 11 (assuming there's meaningful new tech)
  • AirPods Pro 2 → AirPods Pro 3 (still waiting to see if they’re actually coming this September)

As for my MacBook Pro, I’ve decided to hold onto my M1 Pro for one more year. There are rumors of a major redesign in 2026, so I’m holding out for that.
I'm in a very similiar situation:

iPhone 13 -> iPhone 17 Pro Max
Apple Watch 10 42 mm -> keep
AirPods Pro 2 -> keep

I think about getting an iPad Pro M5 13" and use my M1 MacBook Pro with attached SSDs mainly as a homeserver.
