Was clearing through all my music, deleting everything I dont want on itunes today and noticed that when I select my ipod in the source, the "other" section of the capacity bar (purple) is larger than my actual music collection, about 6gb.

So to find out what it was, I asked itunes not to sync anything but my music...no alubm art, podcasts, videos etc.

But it still hasnt changed?

I also enabled disk use to check there was nothing else stored on my ipod, but still no luck.

What could be taking up so much space?

BTW im using an old imac running panther, running the last update of itunes before 7.3 for the iphone, and use a video ipod 30gb.

Thanks.

Album art...

The album art you have on your iPod is part of "other" so thats probably what's taking up all the space.

oops sorry i misread what you wrote

Yeah I thought it might be at first but I tried unchecking the box to include album art and it hardly changed...thanks for the suggestion tho!

Any other ideas anyone?

Thanks
