What ever happened to grab.app?

It's not included in my latest MBP with 10.6.x.

Can I download it from somewhere. If not, how can I do screen prints?

It should be, it's still included with SL. There's a support document called "Mac OS X 10.6 Help: Taking pictures of your screen with Grab."

Use Pacifist to get it off your SL install CD: http://www.charlessoft.com/

It comes up in Spotlight for me. It's located in /Applications/Utilities/Grab. Also, most people just the keyboard shortcuts for taking screen shots.

It’S still there and you can edit your screen grabs with it.

Or you can just use:
COMMAND 🙂apple🙂 + SHIFT + 3 for a simple screenshot
COMMAND 🙂apple🙂 + SHIFT + 4 to grab area of screen
COMMAND 🙂apple🙂 + SHIFT + 4 then SPACE to grab specific windows
