apart from newer processor, what did the XS do better than the X?

Link isn’t a great comparison

I wouldn’t know, I didn’t read through it. Point is, that’s how quick (Less than 15 seconds) it was for me to find a link differentiating between the differences between both models, let alone a plethora of other pages indicating the features. This doesn’t warrant a thread when there’s direct resources right on this website, aside from external resources.

Xs comes with 4GB RAM, while the X has 3GB. Something I'm surprised a lot of Youtube videos have failed to mention. May not be an issue now, but makes it far more future proof.

They don’t mention it, Because they know consumers don’t care and/or even know what Ram is. Apple never addresses how much Ram iPhones have during their keynotes. When consumers are buying an iPhone, they’re just looking for the storage/color, they don’t go and ask much ram an iPhone has.

Perhaps to you but not to me personally. The difference wasn’t worth the upgrade to me when I made it.

Phone speakers are phone speakers to me, to the trained ear or someone who can pick up on that it was probably worth it.

No. Not to me but for any technical competent reviewer that analyzed the phone.

And it doesn’t take ”trained ears” to hear the difference.

If that worth the upgrade or not is subjective, but the differences are there.

It was more of a conversation starter. And look it’s worked.

Not much to be honest. But use this link https://www.apple.com/iphone/compare/ you can still compare them.

Things that the Xs has that the X didn't have:

- A12 Chip
- IP 68 water proofing (X had IP 67)
- Battery is a bit improved
- 512 GB size option
- Improved speakers

- Advanced Bokeh (for Portrait Mode)
- High-Key Mono Portrait Lightning Effect (requires iOS 13)
- Smart HDR (X had Auto HDR)
- Extended Dynamic Range when recording video
- Stereo recording (video)
- 60fps video recording with front facing camera
- Cinematic video stabilization

So mostly minor camera improvements. All taken from this list (took me 5 minutes, don't mention.)

Edit: Xs is also Dual SIM via eSIM, true.

I didn’t mean just you, I meant those who could hear the difference. I not being one of those people.

That’s what i meant, it wasn’t worth the upgrade to me, not to anyone purchasing the phone. I’m sure there are some where the upgrade was significant, I just personally didn’t feel it was.

I cant comment on your personal experience.
I can highlight technical data.
