Im just off the phone with my local Apple store in a last attempt to see wether i could change my dvd region back to region 2 on my iMac. Absolutely not! She suggested i get an external drive, so i think it would be better to make sure it is compatible with both Air & iMac!

Can someone keep me right? and would i be able to use the Macripper & Handbrake programs with an external drive?

If it is compatible with OSX, it should work.
