S upgrades complete the 2 year cycle with a ton of great new features.

The 3GS brought much needed speed.
The 4S brought Siri.
The 5S brought Touch ID
The 6s brings 3D Touch, a better camera, and Live Photos to name a few things.

What new feature/ upgrade are you looking forward to the most?

3D seems to be the "revolutionary" feature that will significantly impact next years model. Because Apple showed off Instagram with force touch, i'm hoping they open the api to more developers as well as adding more functions to their built in apps. 3D touch quick text to friend. 3D touch the settings app!. Thats the first thing i'm testing out. How many built in apps have 3D touch support. 3D Touch the App store, iTunes Store..etc

3D Touch is part of the standard iOS 9 SDK so any dev can use it! They were just showing some examples on stage. I think it's gonna be great.

I can't wait to see what developers use 3D touch. Bank of America, Snapchat.etc, also if its integrated within the apps not just on the home screen.

Also 3D touch to enable multitasking leads to potential no physical home button iPhone 7!!!! Touch buttons. Full screen cover glass edge to edge at increased resolution!!.

The 3GS also brought much needed video recording capabilities, the 3G could only take pictures.
The 4S also brought an upgraded camera, which received a lot of praise for the time.
The 5S brought motion coprocessing (not really a big deal).

Voted for 3D Touch because shortcuts are going to be very useful for me, but 2GB of memory is equally as exciting.

Coming from the iPhone 5, I'm most excited about the big screen, (but I understand why that choice isn't included in the poll. :D)

My choice wasn't up there so instead of voting I'll indicate it here.

It's the "happy to have it in my hands" feature ;)

Oh yeah! I should have said that so I'll say it now. I officially change my silly response to:
Larger screen size

I love when companies try a big push on changing how we interact with our devices and our information, as well as how we interact with each other. 3D Touch is very exciting, & surprisingly enough, I'm interested in how Live Photos will make taking, sending, & viewing photos more fun.

It's quite a hard decision to me. 3D Touch looks like a very, very promising feature that I will be using a lot. However, the A9-chip with 2 GB RAM is also a great upgrade.

I think, iPhone 6s as a whole, is the best 'feature'. May sound a bit deep, but think about it. It's the biggest internal upgrade ever and even at the outside it's different thanks to the stronger body and glass. I did choose 3D Touch as the feature I look mostly forward to. But again, the phone in general is just incredible. And yet I currently have the iPhone 6. That should make clear how much I look forward to this iPhone 6s. :)

I like this. I think the phones are knocked too much on the 's' upgrade releases simply because they do not have a design change. I think that the 's' releases are the bigger upgrade.

Just like how it was with Leopard to Snow Leopard, Lion to Mountain Lion, and (hopefully) Yosemite to El Capitan they do a big upgrade that sets the stage (number upgrades) then the following upgrade ('s' upgrade) smooths out the edges.

The sole reason I'm upgrading from my 6 to an identically specced 6S is purely for the new 5mp front camera (not currently an option on the poll). Not particularly interested in 3D Touch, or always on Siri (which I'll disable first thing). Hoping the increased RAM will make a noticeable difference though.

Speed speed speed.

If the 6s+ is anywhere near as fast as the iPad air 2 good lord this is gonna be a winner! I am honestly not too excited about the 3D touch but only because I am not sure I will use it but interested to see how it progresses in the future and app integration.

Having 2GB of RAM will be nice. However, I chose Live Photos. It looks cool from the demos. I just wonder how it will work in the real world.

I would say 3D Touch would be number one for me with the A9/2GB RAM a close second. Always on Hey Siri would be third. I'm not too fussed about the camera upgrades and can take them or leave them although it's certainly nice to have a better camera. No one seems to have mentioned using the display as a front facing flash although I'm not sure how effective that will be.
