-FaceTime stopped working on my Macbook Pro, under my main user account.
-I created a new account on the same laptop and am able to log in to FaceTime, using the same credentials.

So, for some reason, there seems to be something in a .plist file, or something on my main account that is corrupt. How can I clear out any associated FaceTime files, in order to make it think it's my first time using it on my laptop?

Thanks in advance for any help!!! :)

*bump*

Anyone? It's driving me nuts having to switch user accounts at least once per day, just to use FaceTime, heh. :(

Thanks again!

In Finder, click Go, hold Option and click on Library. Go to the Preferences folder and delete com.apple.facetime.plist

Thank you both!!

@hallux: I'd previously tried deleting the 2 FaceTime files in that Preferences folder, but it didn't work. There must have been additional related files somewhere.

@Risco: Thanks, that worked!! It said it deleted a total of 6 files, so there were obviously other hidden ones, somewhere I didn't know to look. :)

Thanks again, I appreciate the help!!!
