Hey everyone - just thought i'd ask around for what firmware versions you are using.

i think that keeping the newest update + jailbreak makes everything work better. but i have noticed many posts about older versions still in use.

what are you using? and what are the advantages of say an older revision

2.2 jailbroken..i dont see a need to update to 2.2.1 as it doesnt benefit me in any way, and itll waste my time..ill wait until a more important update comes along...

2.2.1, but only cause I needed to restore for fix another problem. Really no need to go to 2.2.1 over 2.2

iPhone 3G running 2.2.1 Jailbroken Firmware, with 02.28.00 baseband, preserved from 2.2 incase of future unlock/resale 😀

iPhone 3G: 2.2 Unlocked & Jailbroken
iPod touch: 2.2.1 Stock, never Jaibroken.
iPhone 2G: 2.2.1 Unlocked & Jailbroken

Test iPhone 2.2. I dont see any reason for upgrading.
2 regular use iphones on 2.1.

My original iphone still on 1.1.3 and I refuse to upgrade. well ... i don't wanna 🙂
