What Folders are these?!?

Hey, I decided to reinstall Leopard, so I booted with the Leopard DVD and in disk utility erased the disk with zero-out space, so it was all properly formatted, installed Leopard, did all the updates and now this shows up when I open my HDD icon.

What are those?!? Are those Temps from the updates? Can I delete them? I never had those before..

Those are important folders (Unix system folders) so you shouldn't delete them, but you should be seeing them. They should be hidden.

so I'm guessing that you just need to type

defaults write com.apple.Finder AppleShowAllFiles NO

into terminal

I just did that, rbeooted and nothing happened .. sitll the same
