What form of media file does iMovieHD use????

I make amvs and upload then to youtube! My family recently purchased a Mac computer but I don't know what kind of files iMovieHD uses can someone help!😕

iMovie, as with most Apple video products, is Quicktime based.

You have to export to QuickTime, you can't just upload the iMovie file.

Make your movie...

Then,

Choose one. For youtube, don't use Full Quality obviously.

That's all there is to it. You now have your MOV file ready upload to YouTube!
