I just finished TLOU Part II, and now deciding what to play next?

Any recommendations?

I have the top tier PS+ catalog to choose from, if there’s anything that’s a winner?

Happy gaming, all.

Arc Raiders is my next game. It reminds me of The Division series and it was my favourite. I just keep watching people playing until I can afford some spare cash and time to play it. My friends keep telling me about it so I know it's been out for a few months.

I bought it, and gave up on it very quickly.

It’s basically a grinding game, which is my least favourite aspect of a game.

I’d gift it to you, if I could.

Jedi Fallen Order and Survivor are very good. Not that there's much competition, but probably the best SW games since Jedi Academy. It's also getting a third game.

Other than must-play games like RDR2 and Spider-Man 1 I'd recommend to also check out indies like Animal Well. If you have any love for 2D platformer pixel games then you'll be enthralled with it. It's like a love letter to that era of gaming and probably on my top 10-list of games ever.

Edit: Bonus recommendations: Little Nightmares 2 and ReAnimal. I haven't play RA yet, but heard very good things about it and it's made by the team from LN2.

Thanks for the recommendation.

I’m not into platformers, but appreciate the thought.

Fallen Order hasn’t gripped me, but my love of gaming isn’t there, at the moment.

I just bought COD Vanguard, for the campaign. Maybe an FPS story driven game will reignite my passion for gaming.

We’ll see.

Happy gaming!

Personally I can go a long time between games. I never try to "force" myself to play them. It just doesn't work that way. It goes in phases. I can play barely anything for over a year and then suddenly finish three games in two months. It's the same with discovering new music albums and TV shows.

You could just make a list of games you'd like to try out some day and go back to it once you finally feel the urge to game again, even if it's not this year. I've had the Mass Effect Trilogy installed on ny PS5 for a long time, but I've had no rush to start it. Of course, suffering from depression puts a hamper to a lot of things, but eventually I know I'll want to immerse myself in it.

Wow, you just described me to a T!

Yes, depression certainly drains one of energy. Both physical, and psychological.

I’ll try to get into the COD game, over the weekend.

Wishing you well, mate 👍🏼.
