Yes, macbook in spec. Runs nicely at 60fps. Set fps_max to 60 and it will be stable at 55-60 fps else it might fluctuate.

Halo UB runs pretty nicely in OSX. I don't have the graphics turned all the way up, but they're not all set to the lowest settings either. You do get a decrease in speed when you turn the graphics and sound all the way up, but that's pretty much a given. 😀

Umm, I should have been a little better on details. I ment how do i modify the fps for counter strike source. Thanks.

The MacBook can play a lot of games, but somewhat new games can't be played at the highest quality. Most complex games won't play well enough to be considered "playable" by most people, but you expected that.

I play Civ 4 and the EA sports games on my Macbook

Also, lego starwars 2

and I'm gonna start playing Starwars empire at war soon. and maybe try Prey

war3 runs great (all settings maxed, ~30 fps in large multiplayer) since it went intel-native. Civ IV runs, but not well. By the end of the game, it's pretty awful. Those 2 are pretty much all I've tried on the macbook in my signature.

Age of Empires 3 runs surprisingly well on low settings. I have everything on rock bottom settings though, because honestly I can't tell much of a difference between that and high anyway. I don't have a FPS figure but it's smooth, anyway.

^ This would be on a C2D 2.0Ghz, 1 GB RAM
