At least you beat PoR, unlike that other guy that claims to be a fan of Dawn of Sorrow. :)

<]=)

It doesn't even play like Dawn of Sorrow! It has the dual party system, does it even have soul collecting stuff too (I can't remember!) or that awesome soul/weapon update system!? And it doesn't have as good music :( which is 75% the appeal of a game for me.

Yes! WarioWare is short. But what a ride!

I beat call of duty 4 on my ps3 today at the regular difficulty. I guess now I'll try again at a harder level. Is there some bonus for finding all 30 intelligence pieces?

I'm surprised so many of these lists are as short as they are. I would have thought that the low number of games on my list would have been more of a deviation than this.

As far as beating games go, I always finish them, including all of the bonus material. Over the years, the only games I've been unable to beat are Spiderman and Venom: Maximum Carnage, and Battletoads. I've only given up on a handful of games (for being boring), namely Zelda: TP (completely lacking in challenge) and FF8 (time compression? I stopped caring.)

This year I beat:

Resident Evil 4 for Wii (including all bonuses and full 5-star merc)
HL2 and HL2 episode 1 (highest difficulty)
Mega Man X2

Resident Evil 4 (Wii)
Beaten main game, the two Ada ones, and Merc.

Mass Effect (Xbox 360)
Beaten the game 3 times, but am still working on achievements.

Rainbow Six: Vegas (Xbox 360)
Beaten it on Realistic.

Super Mario Galaxy (Wii)
Defeated Bowser, but still have a lot of stars to get.

Metroid Prime 3 (Wii)
Beat it once with 90-something percent completion.

Halo 3 (Xbox 360)
Beaten it on Legendary, gotten every single player achievement and some multiplayer achievements.

Tales of the Abyss (PS2)
Beat it once. Enjoyed it, but not as much as Tales of Symphonia.

Bioshock (Xbox 360)
Beaten it on the hardest difficulty and gotten every achievement except for getting all the tonics.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Arcade Game (Xbox Live Arcade)
Beaten it a few times and got maybe half the achievements.

Call of Duty 4 (Xbox 360)
Just picked it up a few days ago and yesterday I beat it on Veteran. Today I have completely finished it, getting every single achievement. The Mile High Club achievement was very difficult but very satisfying to accomplish.

gamecube
legend of zelda: windwaker
metroid prime
sonic riders

gba
m+l: superstar saga
sonic advance 2

ps2
ff XII (this took me almost two months, longest game played to date, over 100 hours to just beat it)

wii
super mario galaxy

currently playing: metriod prime 2. didn't put it in the finished column, since i don't know if i'll finish before tuesday, which is doubtful right now. i'll get to mp3 sometime next year.

Completed:
1. Rainbow Six Vegas (PS3)
2. Splinter Cell Double Agent (PS3)
3. Oblivion (PS3 - I completed the main story, and have completed every guild's story line as well. I just wrapped up the Shivering Isles story as well)
4. Lego Star Wars The Complete Saga (Wii)

In Progess:
1. Metroid Corruption (Wii)
2. Super Mario Galaxy (Wii)
3. Zelda Twilight Princess (Wii)

It's been a good gaming year...

The only reason I'm a broken record on this, is because your complaints are similar minus the music to every peep I know that played DoS, then was taken back by PoR -- this includes me of course. But everyone I know that drudged passed these initial let downs, found the game to be quite fun and a worthwhile play.

And playing to the 2cnd or 3rd boss was given up tooooooooooo early. :) I didn't play either game for the music, so they both kind or blurred together for me.

The Weapon update thing is gone, but to kind of contradict my previous statement, it's still partially there, just in a different form. Yes, you still collect soles, but they're used to upgrade your character's abilities. The game has this going for it, which is quit similar to DoS, but it also has a balanced weapon and item system-- everything had a well thought out trade off when it came to the character's stats.

For me I didn't really see the similarities to DoS until later on and that's of course after I had got some really cool and fun abilities/items for each character. This was also when character switching actually became fun and made sense.
---

I just recalled that I only played Metroid Prime 3 to 98% completion, but didn't go to the final battle, since I was trying to find the last enemies to scan!

Tomb Raider: Legend on the 360 -- though I do have a time-trial left to do :)
Halo 3
Gears Of War
Wii Sports (in that I'm > 2,000 skill at all the games)
Call Of Duty 3 (Wii)
Red Steel (Wii)
Mario Kart DS
... and I got lower than my actual age on Brain Training on the DS :)

Currently working through Bioshock and Super Mario Galaxy (both Christmas presents!) and Space Giraffe on the 360 (which is absolutely killing me... I literally dream that game!)

XBOX 360:

Beaten:
CoD 4
Portal

Working on:
Halo 3
.skate
HL2+Ep1+2
Oblivion

PS: i'm sure i would have finished more but i've only had my xbox a couple of days and halo multiplayer is really addicting =p

Halo 3
COD4

I'm a pretty lazy gamer....and I'm spread through RE:UC, Super Mario Galaxy, All of the Orange Box, Gears of War, Mass Effect, BWii....

-The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (beat it less than a month)
-Donkey Kong Country (with a little help  )
-Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time (I've never beat that game before! :) )

.....and that's it. :|

Correction: I beat Ocarina of Time in 2006, sorry, please don't kill me :|

RE4: Mercenaries (all 5*s :D)
GoW: Every offline achievement, including co-op (which was done entirely by myself on hardcore)
BioShock: Easy, about half-way through hard
Lunar Genesis
Pokémon Diamond: Story, not sure on my Pokédex, but it's about 150, I think
TS2: Finally got all the story on medium (got all the challenges/arcades, 46 of which on platinum, but I despise that Neotokyo level...)
XIII
NFS Carbon: Campaign, although not the challenges
Halo 3: Normal, about half-way through legendary
FEAR: Low, going to start hard once BioShock is done
Splinter Cell 4: Can't remember much, other than that I finished it for completion's sake then traded it in later that day... awful game
Wartech Senko No Ronde: All Score Attacks, all bar the 2 stories with the insane boss[es], but I was so pissed off that I'd wasted 15 of my hard-earned quid that I couldn't be bothered to do them)
Final Fantasy VII: Crashed through it for lulz
Half-Life 2: Eps 0 and 1 and Lost Coast
Portal: Although none of the additional puzzles
Picross 2: Finished all the standard puzzles [highly addictive combination of sudoku and minesweeper found here]

I've a feeling i did something near the beginning of the year that's escaping me completely...

As for crazy, at a LAN Party a few days before Christmas, I got an excited IM from someone who managed to complete Homeworld 1 :eek::eek:

I suppose I'll chime in...

PS3:
Madden 08 (season)
Rainbow 6: Vegas

PSP:
Madden 07 (season)
NCAA Football 07 (season)
Final Fantasy

DS:
New Super Mario Brothers
Phantom Hourglass

Feel like I'm forgetting somethings though.

Working on:
Madden 08 again (PS3 and DS)
Tiger Woods 08 (PS3 and DS)
NHL 08 (PS3)
Need for Speed Carbon (PS3)

All on PS3...

Call of Duty 4
The Darkness
Heavenly Sword
NBA Street Homecourt
Oblivion (main quest + all quilds, etc)
Ratchet & Clank
Uncharted

I'm sure there are more but I really can't remember them. Once I get bored of a game I sell it on eBay.

As far as modern games

With my friends, I beat:
Halo (Co-op)
Halo 2 (Co-op)
Scenarios on RCT2
Scenarios on RCT2: Wacky Worlds
Scenarios on RCT2: Time Twister

Alone:
Guitar Hero 3 Easy
Guitar Hero 3 Medium
Scenarios on RCT3
Scenarios on RCT3: Soaked!

As far as older games...

Alone:
Blast Corps. (N64)
Banjo-Kazooie (N64)
A Link To The Past (GB, even bought a pocket to play it)
Star Fox 64 (take a wild guess)

I'm I the only one who really likes this game but can't complete the main quest...wow I suck at oblivion or maybe my attention span suck.

I really struggled with it earlier on, but once my skills reached a tipping point, it became simple from there on. If you acquire a good invisibility spell, it becomes very easy.

My list is:
Oblivion (main quest, haven't completed all guilds yet, who knows how many other quests might be in there!)
Gears of War
Ridge Racer 6 (Don't laugh. It actually was quite satisfying to complete).
Call of Duty 3
Splinter Cell Double Agent
Halo 3 (many, many times over; incl legendary).
Bioshock (can't say I cared for the game too much though..)
Mass Effect (main storyline, missed a good few side-quests)
Crackdown (my sole gaming claim to fame: I have - or at least, had the last time I checked - the fastest time in the world for one of the road races)
Colin McCrae Dirt
Assassin's Creed (not the most replayable of games though..)
