And no, I'm not talking about getting a fix for your wet willy.

I find my job to be boring and unsatisfying, but a lot of people still do what they do because they have to. But even if you do enjoy your work, there's always a point where it will become mediocre...i'm trying to to find out if one should really pursue what they want or just get a job like the rest of the world and move on...

My bladder at 6:15am to 6:45am. Just before my alarms go off....

GRRRRRR.......

I still get up in the morning excited about going to work. I think you should pursue what you want to do.

Usually an alarm, a thought about something, a little ... well ... yeah that ... and then the fear of God in my soul that drags my ass out of bed to my office to work all day long.

Right now I'm working a summer job as a waiter...so if I'm getting up in the morning it's because I'm on breakfast shift (at work at 6:30), which means that multiple alarm clocks going off at once get me up. :p Speaking of which....I've got to be at work in 6:20. FML.

Nothing. I have nowhere to go and nothing to do so why get up early? I just go to bed late and wake up late.

Yes, I'm serious.:(

When I on the road: Getting to the customer on time.

When home: Someone coming downstairs telling me we have to leave now to go play golf/get food.

The morning doesn't get me up ... I get the morning up.

Okay, in all honesty ... What gets me up is knowing that others lives literally depend on me being at work, and prepared, on time. I'm one of the people that truly loves my job, and while I may not want to get out of bed ... once I am, I am stoked about the day.

I usually get up happy to go to work, I love what I do and most days are not the same. I suggest pursuing what interests you but unfortunately that doesn't always pay the bills for people.

Picture drinking eight cups of coffee.
...
...
...
And then eight more.

I am fairly certain these pills are no good for me but they're my new craze. I mean, the warning label itself takes up about 2/3s of space on the bottle. Got them the other day and they add such a boost to my workout routine it's ridiculous. I haven't seen any weight loss yet but it hasn't even been a week yet. Also suppresses your appetite, which is good. I mean, I was literally tweaked out on this stuff this morning when I popped three and went to the grocery store. I was gliding down the isles and stuff. And I woke up at 11AMish, after going to bed at 7AM that same day.

What's your job?

This helps

jk, usually the embarrassment of waking up at 3:30 pm gets me going and having a cosmopolitan at 4:30 is something to look forward to.

I loathed getting up early for work after Uni, 12am was a good time for me to get up. I simply had no motivation for any of the jobs I was in.. now I run my own business, and I can't get a decent night's sleep anymore. I just want to be at my laptop checking over orders, answering enquiries - sleep is a necessary evil these days!

It's 6.28 am here now for example, been up since 5 and I love it..

I used to think I was suited for legal work, and never had any motivation for business. But it turned out that I had developed a number of creative skills and a strong business sense over the past few years and gradually it dawned on me - time to put it all to good use.

Like to guys above are saying, you have to find what you really enjoy doing and make the move / take the risk depending on what it is. People with creative jobs, jobs with lots of internal satisfaction or jobs with lots of freedom are most likely to be the happiest..

Unfortunately, the idiots on the K-Earth 101 morning show. My wife likes to wake up to that channel.

Although....... I'd like to play 'Beat the Pump' one day..........
