But I'm not really one to talk - I manage to make spelling errors even with the spell checker on....

It's pretty funny when someone who complains about spelling and grammatical errors has one of their errors pointed out.

For the record, I do hate when a post is incomprehensible. And I do try to spell check. But I use a lot of grammatical no-nos (like starting a sentence with AND or BUT, or OR) for the sake of easier reading. Get over it (not meant to be toward you marcfiszman). This is a public forum with a bunch of kids and people where English is a secondary language. And people who are just horrible spellers. There are more important things in life.

I do miss Arn a bit, but the mods are doing a pretty good job. Especially considering that they are only human and all.
 
Speaking of spelling, Apple sometimes needs proofreaders too. The bold is mine in this quote from the Power Mac G5 Uniprocessor Firmware Update 5.1.5f2 installer:
Important Note: Remove any third part RAM before installing this Firmware Update. After the Firmware Updater has verified that it has been completed correctly, you can re-install your third party RAM.​
 
glad you guys saw my mistakes as wel.. I'm not denying that we all make mistakes, but when you are posting on the front page of the site, it is important to be careful. I can make mistakes in the forum as we all do... no big deal.. it doesn't matter in here like it does on the index. oh look, i only put one 'l' in "well" up there... no biggy.. i think you guys know what I'm saying. :cool:

so yeah, i'll PM a mod or editor if I see more typos.. no big deal.. i just know, as we all do, that there are many pc trolls who like to nit-pik at everything mac related, even how mac users type/format sentences etc.. plus it just looks bad for the site/community.

While I like this site for the rumors and news mix, having a Software update sitting up there for a week kinda streches the word "news" rather far.

Just on a side note: Demi-gods are able to read Submissions? How long does it take?

just take out the "a new poll every weekday" tagline for now if you will, ok? Looks pretty unprofessional to make this claim and then have the same poll sitting there for something like a month.

Or better yet, perhaps we could update the polls with some regularity?
 
the only person with the ability to update the polls is a bit out of pocket - I think it's something you all can deal with a little longer until we can work out a solution.

Sorry it's taking so long - we're doing what we can about it for the time being.

I take it someone wasn't paying attention when the teacher was talking about the Torah? (aka Old Testament, aka Pentamuch, aka 5 Books of Moses)

I guess it was you, Moses never actually spoke to Pharoah, Aaron did all the talking. :D
