Everyone keeps parroting the same “oh it’s too pink for me...”

Pink is fabulous. And this gold S4 Apple Watch doesn’t look pink to me.

(Though I am color blind, so that may help)

Pink is fine. I wear pink button down shirts. My personal issue with the S3S4 Al gold is twofold:

1) that the only other jewelry I wear is my wedding band which is 24K gold and I would rather have a yellower watch. ( I would buy gold SS if it were cheaper)

2) it makes my skin look redder, especially with the bands it comes with. I would have to spend an additional $50 for a band since I would never (or very rarely) use the pink sand one.

One interesting thing is they the watch looks different under different light and with different bands but still not for me.

I already put my pink sand sport loop in the my watch band drawer, and I doubt I will wear it very often.

But I have a lot of nice bands: a rainbow assortment of sport bands, a brown leather loop, an orange sport loop I just bought and received today. And none of them cost more than $20. Most cost less than $10. I would never consider buying any of the over-priced Apple bands to go with an aluminum Apple Watch.

I think the S4 gold aluminum looks nice with any dark or warm-colored bands. With my orange sport band and new orange sport loop, it looks somewhat orange, which I like more than it looking pink. It looks a bit more copper with off-white or brown bands.

The gold SS isn’t yellow, either.
