What happened to Hitchhiker's Guide?

The game would be great, but I have been telling my wife that the iPad (& iPhone before that) IS The Guide ... it (the pad) just doesn't talk ... yet ... keep hoping, & don't panic !
I've been driving around with a towel in my trunk for 25 yrs now ... & now that we've got "The Guide", I'm set !

Have you checked with the developer of said app? Do they have a website and a Contact Us page?

The developer's site does not offer release date, available device, or any video demo. So, don't hold your breath.

I agree!!! I often tell people that Douglas Adams invented the iPad. If you put a Wikipedia app on there, you're all set! Wikipedia is just like the Hitchhiker's Guide--anyone can write anything they want, and it may be a long time before it gets "edited" to be correct.

I think an iPad with IMDB, GOOGLE and Wolfram Alpha apps pretty much IS the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Planet Earth.

If you are not moving forward on this project, then might I suggest you at least do those of us who are quite fond of both Douglas Adams and his work a favor by taking down the website "http://www.thenewhitchhikersguide.com". At the very least update it to share the fact that your massive press release from 2011 was just a large steaming pile?
