The only selling point of these things could potentially be the price, since performance is not up to par anyway (SATA 2, ugh). Sad to see that Intel seems to have dropped the ball completely with its lates SSD offerings.
Yes, all signs point to that, which is why I said they'd dropped the ball. Still, some resellers may adjust their prices as these drives reach wide availability. I'm certainly not holding my breath, though.
Seems like Intel is conceding this year to Sandforce. Back to the drawing board, I say!
