What happened to my safari dock icon??

So this is what my safari dock icon looks like now after upgrading to 10.6.2. No impact on functionality but just an eyesore. I've restarted my computer, i've removed the icon from the dock and placed it back to no avail. Any suggestions?

Reinstall Safari? Why?

Just drag that icon off the dock and let it disappear in a puff of smoke. Restart Safari from the applications folder then... right click the dock icon and tell it to stay there.

But odd only the Safari icon is translucent...

Try this, this is how I reset my icons:

Remove it from your dock

go to the Applications Folder,

Right click the safari application

"get info"

click on the icon at the top of the pop-up

hit cmd-x

close the window

re-drag the app to your dock.
