What happened to my screen?

Does anyone know what happened to my screen. I have to wait a couple of days before I can visit the Apple Store.

I have a 2014 MacBook Pro

I just randomly opened my MacBook to that

Lines usually are caused by a defective display cable or a loosened connector.
If you are out of warranty you might try to open your machine and reconnect the display connector on the board, there is a good chance it works.

Yea it still under warranty, but like I said can't go to the store for a couple of days.

It was fine literally 2 hours before and then opened to that

I assume the issue persists through a reboot and reset ?

It does persist with a reboot. Not sure about a reset

Try an smc and nvram reset first.
