iPod touch what happened to "other"?

this dissapeared in 3.0 is it good or bad and heck what was the "other" there for in the first place.

I still have other in my 3G, and it includes things like the OS and anything else that's not audio, video, apps, and pics. 😉

hmm weird like txt messages right but i have notes, email and other stuff lol but nothing it doesnt show i wonder what apple did to change this.
