maybe i'm doing it wrong but i cannot seems to get the icon to play anything.

Are you making the icons large enough (using the slider in the lower right)?

I noticed you have to be a certain size before you get the play symbol.

Also, while it's playing, if you resize too small.....it stops.

seems to me this only works in cover flow. which is a MAJOR bummer, since i like everything in list view.

how do you propose being able to see what your "quick looking" at when its in a little tiny list row?

there are other files quick look can open beside pictures. i mostly use it to listen to mp3's and watching video. having the video play in the background is nice and having a mp3 in the background is even nicer.

This definitely doesn't work in list view. It only works in Icon and Coverflow.
