What happened to Social?

There was an iPad-only Facebook app called Social or Social for the iPad, but it's gone from the US store. Anyone know why it was removed?

I decided to pull it from the App Store back in September due to a lot of difficulties in working up against Facebook. I just couldn't consciously sell it anymore without either drastically scaling back what it did, or by working full time just fixing stuff that broke because of Facebook.
