edit: my bad - indeed overlooked the 2.7 versus the quad being 2.0 Ghz.

You did. There is only a 2.7 i7 dual-core not a quad-core.

There is a dual core 2.7ghz "standard" mini (not server) and a 2.0ghz quad core mini server. There has never been a quad core 2.7ghz mini server nor has there been a 2.7ghz dual core server either.

There have not been any changes to any of the mini models since July (or was it June?).

The 2010 mini server was a Core 2 Duo at 2.66GHz. Maybe that's what you are remembering.
