What happened to the RAM heatsinks?

Is the ram in the new Mac Pro not buffered, or is it just not as "high quality" to require heatsinks? I noticed this along side the new processors which are now on that stupid slide out tray. Soon the entire computer will be a slide out tray.

We don't need them anymore. FB-DIMMs were stupidly hot.

Yeah, because I'd LOVE to reach in and cut myself on metal to install RAM directly onto the side logic board...

They're not FBDIMM's anymore, so they have different thermal characteristics.

Anyway that sliding tray will help with dusting off the processors a lot...
