    Hello,

I had posted in a thread that was about new iPhone 4S cases that were showing up at Amazon.

The link to the thread was:

    http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1244030

I had posted a question there regarding suggestions for a case and went back to look for an answer today and saw the thread had disappeared.

I checked all the other case threads and couldn't find my posting or any of the others from that thread. My posting also doesn't show up when I go to my user profile and go to show all posts, so I think it probably got deleted. Curious.

You posted in a thread that it the OP was banned and his post was deleted as it was spam, which in turn deleted the entire thread.

Gotcha, I didn't even read the first post too closely as I wasn't interested in the links . . . I was piggybacking to ask my own related question without starting a new thread.

So you're saying you were hijacking a thread ;)

If the thread was as nefarious as claimed (which I did not notice), I think my earnest question could have only improved it! ;)
