What Happened to the Triangles

Open apps no longer show they are open with the dark triangle underneath--how can we tell if it's open and no windows, or in another space, or hidden???? 😕

There is a light blue dot, that looks as it is glowing now!

There's now a little glowing orb beneath an open app. From the screenshots, it doesn't look as easy to see as the black triangle.

And that'd be why I missed it--probably easier to see in real life.
