C C DM macrumors Sandy Bridge Jul 8, 2014 #7 Or as it happened with some iOS 7.0 and/or 7.1 betas, at some point after the install (OTA or otherwise) it can check for activation and not allow it to go through. So there's a chance it can still work and a chance that it might not.
