What happens if I turn off cellular data access to the Phone app?

I'm traveling abroad and want to limit my data usage. I also want to receive texts from my home number, but I DON'T want to receive calls. What happens if I toggle the switch next to the Phone app under the Cellular settings to off? Does that stop all phone calls from going through to my phone? Will I still be able to receive text messages (iMessage and regular SMS)?

Turning this off will not affect your regular calls or sms.

You can try to change the Phone app settings to Contacts Only and it may do what you want as well.
