I know this sounds like a stupid question, but what happens if you quickly hold a lighter to an iPhone screen?

Would it burn or leave a stain? Or would it just wipe away?

The reason I ask is because I know the screen is glass and glass shouldn’t really burn from a lighter. I’m debating it with my buddy and he thinks it would get messed up and I don’t think it would (in short burns).

Not sure if those people who test durability have any videos just to see what happens.

The glass screen has a coating on it. If you're confident that it won't be damaged by trying to burn it, go right ahead.

OP, please don’t forget to share your experience afterwards!

I’m not doing it. Jeez...I guess that’s what happens when you ask questions in here haha.

Discussion is a good thing, but this topic seems rather obvious of the outcome To start a thread on this topic. One could’ve easily googles this or even watched a YouTube video for your answer.
