Lion through El Capitan are available in the "Purchased" section on the App Store if they were previously purchased/downloaded. Sierra does not show in the "Purchased" section. Does anybody have ideas if Sierra will still be available from the App Store after the release of High Sierra in September?

It would be safest to assume that there will be no way to download Sierra anymore once High Sierra is released. Archive a copy of the installer now.

"What Happens to Sierra Availability When High Sierra is Released?"

It will disappear from the App Store (as have previous versions of the OS before it).

If you don't have an "archival copy" now, best to get one while you still can.

Thank you chrfr and Fishrrman for the replies. :)

It seems that Apple has, for some unknown reason, changed their procedure of having "Purchased" apps available for re-download from the App Store. I have archived multiple copies of the full Serra installer and also made a USB installer. IF Apple pulls Sierra as soon as High Sierra (10.13.0) is released then there will probably be some surprised and upset people if they need the full Sierra installer.
