Funny how experiences differ. I've had no problems with my D-Link, while the Linksys wireless router we use at work tends to freeze up every few days until we do a hard reset on the thing.

Another thing I like about D-Link is they explicitly do Mac support and testing.
 
I am in close to the same situation you are. I would personally reccomend the Belkin 802.11b Wireless Router (model P54987-A.) I have used it without a problem. It is cheap and easy to use and setup. If you are using AirPort Extreme instead of just regualar AP or (although you can use APE with the 802.11b model, as I do) Belkin also has the same router with an 802.11g transmitter for not much more.
