iPod What HD to buy for iPod Class 1st Gen?

If I got a 1st gen iPod classic with a bad HD, what hd do I buy to replace? Thanks.

This old site has a pretty good list of what hard drives you can put in a first gen iPod. Unfortunately they don't seem to work very well with SSD solutions which is a real shame.

Search on eBay for a 3rd gen hard drive, I'm using a 20GB on my 1G.

I also don't think they work with SD flash adapters too. That means replacing a HDD is the only option?
