When i'm playing a game and my team sucks all of the sudden everyone is down, but for me and there all screaming at me over the mics to help them then I get ambushed and they vote me out because they died. It is not my fault they died, I was the last one standing!

Never, I repeat, NEVER play L4D with randoms. It is the worst experience ever. I have a group of people on my friends list that are L4D players. If I get on to play and they aren't online, I don't even try it. People running off, startling the Witch, not healing wounded teammates, etc. The experience you had, sadly, is not uncommon. Especially with a game like that where team work is so vital to survival.

On the flip side of that though, when you do get a group of good friends together to play, there are very few gaming experiences that can match the fun and tension, especially on harder difficulties. The satisfaction of smoothly clearing a campaign with all 4 people is awesome. My buddies and I don't play that often anymore, but when we do it is always a riot.

I'll play with random people, but only on the VS mode. If I'm doing campaign I try to get a group I know together.

You can votekick on the Xbox version too?
I used to play it all the time on my PC but now I'm back with my original addiction (TF2). The public are terrible at L4D but its dangerously contagious. After spending all night trying to get into a good game my friend and I just joined in the arsehattery.
We're at a stage where all my friends are pretty good at it so we deliberately try and hinder each other. Like healing someone and cancelling it so a Tank would punch them, or throwing molotovs in corridors to split them up, speed running and calling hordes. If anyone drops out for whatever reason and a public takes their place they get awfully p**sed .

To this day I've only ever finished 1 L4D2 versus where not a single person dropped out. L4D1 had fewer ragequitters.

What I hate even more is bossy 7 year olds that play the game with mics.

i join a game, and I am always the only person who is actually considerate of the team by healing others, giving them pills, not leaving them behind.etc

But when bossy little kids are in the game, they will kick you if you do ONE thing wrong.

*I see pills, I grab them*

7 year old: DONT TAKE THOSE PILLS! (of course he says it after I grab them)

7 year old: oh my godddddd, I can't believe you did that! Kick him guys, kick him! (Even though I could give him the pills, which I was about to do)

Of course they all vote yes, and I am left at the menu screen while also being very frustrated.

Honestly, they need to add something that shows who started the vote, it would help a lot when someone is minging.

Are you sure they didn't vote you out because of the Lisp ;):D

My god...I'm reminded why some of the guilds I've been in had age limits. ;)

why are you letting 3 people die one after another without attempting to save anyone at all?

this is a case where i'd really like to hear the other side of the story. if you are getting vote kicked that often, chances are the problem is you

As someone who frequently boots no talented people and people who don't follow instructions, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say most of you guys deserve it. Thank god for game democracy!

I hate when a split-screen comes int o mess up the game. If they are paying any attention their 2 votes makes it a guaranteed No.
